Ian Wilhelm
Founder & Lead Builder
With over 20 years of experience in building both wood and concrete skateparks, Ian Wilhelm introduces to you Unity Builderz — a team of craftsmen and skaters on a mission to apply their knowledge of skilled trades in keeping the skateboard community strong.
Aside from playing a crucial part in start-to-finish development for projects spanning from the West Coast to the East, Ian has played a significant role in harboring a safe and positive environment for young skaters to gather at with his Port Orchard-based shop, Unity Skate Shop.
A skateboarding veteran himself, Ian will go to great lengths to support the Northwest skate-culture, advocating park development in rural areas by applying for grants in local communities.
Our Mission
As a skateboarder, you deserve a haven, and with knowledge gathered from various projects completed throughout the western United States, we aim to deliver what you deserve.
Our love for building is equal to our love for skating, so we don’t just build skateparks. Whether it be custom patios, general construction, half pipes or bowls, we’ll build it. From conceptualization to the finished product, our team of builders is dedicated to uniting aesthetics with usability to take your dream and craft it into reality.
We strongly believe that doing what you love is essential to a happy life. We team up with both leaders and residents to plan, locate, and bring design conceptualization to life.
